On the penultimate day of “Nadhaswara Thavilisai Festival – 2018” by Brahma Gana Sabha (25th Jan 2018), this year also the annual function of Nadhaswara Chakravarthy Dr. Thiruvengadu Subramania Pillai was organized to felicitate Nadhaswara Vidhwans. Dr Nalli Kuppusamy Chettiar was kind enough to preside over the function. Chief Guest, Dr Sirkali Siva Chidambaram shared his vivid memories of Dr Tiruvengadu Subramania Pillai. Cash award of Rs. 25000/- each and Shields were presented to the awardees viz., Thiru Pandanallur Venugopal Kalidas and Tiruvengadu V Masilamani by Dr. Kalarani Manoharan and her husband, Thiru S. Manoharan IAS (Retd.). The posthumous award of Tiruvengadu V Masilamani was received by his son Thiru Masila Madhavan. Television news anchor Ms Jayashree Sundar compered the whole function.
